Server Features

• File Manager
AuraDev’s File Manager allows you to access your Web site files without an FTP client. Navigate through directories as you would on your computer, then upload or edit files, create new files and folders, or download/view files. You can also search for files and folder. For the advanced user, there is the ability to execute shell commands.

• IP Filtering Utility
This utility allows you to block or allow access to your web site based on the visitors IP addresses. This is a great tool for high security sites that will be accessed by pre-authorized users.

• SSH (Secure Shell)
Secure Shell (SSH), or Secure Socket Shell, is a UNIX-based command interface and used to administer web servers. It is available for clients who need it.

• Cron Jobs
A Cron is a scheduled command. Cron Jobs are used to run certain scripts at specific times.

• Apache Watchdog
Our web hosting system uses a unique "watchdog" system. Watchdog checks your web server every 30 minutes to ensure that it is functioning properly. If not, our technicians are immediately notified.

• Apache Error Messages
Error Messages allow you to control what your users see when they link to a page that has been removed or see a site error.
