Link Building

Link Building is the cornerstone to organic search engine optimization.  The quantity and quality of Inbound Links has a major influence on which site will be placed on the first page of search results.

Our standard recommendation is that you have at least 50 inbound links for every high value key phrase.  If you are unsure which keywords to optimize to, we can quickly determine which keywords will result in sales through a site review.

The general rule for Organic SEO is that your website content, page titles, meta tags, alt tags, title tags and even file names should be congruent and optimized to keywords that will bring in targeted customers.  Onsite optimization is only one side of the coin.  When comparing two properly optimized web sites,we often find that the site with the most high Page Rank inbound links wins.

    Hi Ron,

Here is your free inbound link report

    Total Inbound Links: 100
    Total Unique Anchor Texts: 31

    PR 5 Links: 0
    PR 4 Links: 2
    PR 3 Links: 5
    PR 2 Links: 9
    PR 1 Links: 5

    Most Popular Anchor Texts
    Copacabana Hotel and Suites
    http://www.copacabanahotel.com
    Copacabana Hotel & Suites
    http://www.copacabanahotel.com/
    http://www.copacabanahotel.com
Jaco Beach – Copacabana Hotel and Suites
    The Copacabana Hotel

What this is saying is that you have 100 inbound links, which is a little on the low side. If you would like to improve your visibility online, I would suggest getting many more PR 4 or higher inbound links. Having more high quality links can place you above your competitors.

I would also suggest that you use more generic anchor text, such as Costa Rica Resort, or Hotel Costa Rica.

By using your name in the anchor texts you are missing out on being found by people who don’t know who you are. It is important to be #1 for your name, but it is equally and maybe more important that you show up under key phrases that your target customer who doesn’t already know about you would use.
