I am going to be designing a letter to send to physicians and clients throughout the country. My physician list is in an excel spread sheet. I would like to be able to highlight the e-mail addresses and send an attachment that they can respond to. I would like a system that could tell me which address was bad so I would not continue to send them information. Does you program have that capability?

What you are referring to is bounce handling. Most email servers will keep track of bounces so that you can pull them off your list. Ours does as well but there is a bit of configuration required to get that. Basically we need to setup a place for the bounces to go back to, and then tell the server where that is so it can check for bounces and handle them.

Here is the documentation on our servers for that feature: http://docs.phplist.com/PhpListConfigBounces

We are able to set this up for you on request, though it is not a standard setup feature, you will need to open a support ticket and ask for it.
